About me
My Name is Vanessa Weinhauer, I am born in 1998 in Germany. I started Wakeboarding in 2009 at my current home cable park Hot Sport Seepark Niederweimar/Marburg. Since then I am completely addicted to this sport. I started competing in 2010 and became part of the Wakeboarding National Team in 2011.
Besides several National Titels in categories girls and junior ladies, in 2014 and 2016 I became Europeanchampion in Junior Ladies. My biggest dream came true in November 2016 where I got Junior World Champion in Mexico.
Unfortunately I torn my ACL in my left knee in 2015, I trained a lot and came back stronger than ever. After my World and European titels I won the Nationals again and got 4th at the World Cup in Shanghai, the event where I torn my ACL in my right knee. After two surgerys I was able to ride again in October 2018 and now I am back on the water competing again.
Currently I got 5th at the Open Europeans in Poland, after not competing at Europeanchampionships for 3 years. Right now I am also the German Vice Champion in Open Ladies.
